It seems that Toyota and Lexus models didn't rank highly on the lists used in researching this article. However, I'm sure it comes down to there just being so many cars on the market - sometimes quality vehicles get overlooked. Thanks for sharing your experience!

We owned two brand new cars a few years back - one Toyota Solara Convertible and one BMW I-325. We had more repairs comparative to identical care, driving habits and garaging and when there were repairs, the BMW was by far pricier. We sold the BMW when one of us got a company car and we no longer needed two cars of our own. Sold it to our daughter with less than 40K miles and she shortly ended up with a very expensive brake job - $2000!!! Since, we have traded our Solara, which we loved and had zero issues with till 130K and beyond - it still drove like a new car - and bought a Lexus, brand new. (Part of the Toyota co.). LOVE IT TOO. Where are the Lexus or Toyota products on your list?
