Why is it that when I go to your rated banks I can't find the high rates you refer to? Do you update your data often?

That is a good rate, David. Just make sure that you're following all U.S. tax laws so you don't get in trouble. I imagine that you are supposed to claim any income from interest, regardless of its origin.

I opened a CD with Her Majesty's Credit Union. This is a credit union in the U.S. Virgin Islands but they have fantastic rates. Where other institutions are paying 5%, I am getting 7.75% on my money. This is an EXCELLENT DEAL!!! Plus the dividens paid are TAX FREE.
