Thanks for sharing your experience, David. It highlights the importance of keeping receipts when you want to take advantage of a warranty. You may want to try one of the options on this list the next time you need a battery.
-- Contributed by: LorieI had a Autolite battery from Kragen that was to last 84 months however it failed 2 years later and they did not back up the warrentee at all because I couldn't find my receipt. I would not buy another thing from Kragen. I know if you dont have the receipt Pep Boys goes by the mfg date, not Kragen
-- Contributed by: DavidGlad this article helped you out, Brian. Let us know how your new battery works for you.
-- Contributed by: LorieI like this site. I bought an Autolite battery from Kragen and it did not last two years though it had 84 months written on it. There is no way I would buy another, nor shop at Kragen again. I'll try one of your recommendations.

-- Contributed by: LorieDue to varying cir...stances and the advertising gurus, I have used Interstate for many many years. They definitely do not live up to the hype. They are possibly not even average at best. Spend your money on the most underrated battery out there: ACDelco. Yes they used to be poor, but in the last 10 years they have out performed anything else I have used.
