If you want a hands down beat the rest of the pack compition additive then add an 8oz bottle of FPPF to your next three ta nk fill-ups. I have been using this product in bulk quantities in my diesel vehicles from small to large, commercial and personal since July '79. Increase in mileage, dispersing most any contaminates you will incur from day to day like dust, water clean or dirty. Anti gelling anti microbe. Prove it to yourselves and cost savings will be realized when you find fuel filter replacement does not happen but once annually. FPPF is concentrated, economic as 8oz treats 240 gallons unlike all the a fore mentioned additives, where quarts or gallons must be used Add say one quart unclean pond water (no slime/leaves) to your tank with FPPF added (150gal tank was used for a demonstration), drive to your next fuel stop without any mishaps. I fueled down in Florida just ahead of an hurricane so quite a bit of water got into the tanks while fueling then I traveled to my destination in Alaska through a number of climate changes Without clogged fuel filters or engine failures. And one of the sellers for me and my partners at 750,000 mile head removal to inspect the engine, we were shocked to see nothing that is no normal soot deposits or gumming just a beautiful shiny like new off the assembly line head and cylinders. The engine was a 1979 3406 Cat, to this day I will use only FPPF or nothing.

I was surprised you did not mention STP Diesel Fuel additive. This is a great product. Lucas doesn't have any active ingredients, so how could it make your list?

Hi Lorie,

How can we get Centron Diesel Fuel Enhancer included in your list of Best diesel fuel additives? It seems that Power Service, Stanadyne & Amsoil are well represented with 2-3 products each that collectively do not possess the comprehensive performance & preventative maintenance benefits that Centron possesses.

Arguably the best all around "All in One" Diesel Fuel Additive in the market is Centron Diesel Additive.
