Thanks for the suggestion, Colin. Just make sure you have lots of towels for cleanup!

these pranks are cool but the best is filling millions of cups with water so wherever you step water spills

That would certainly give students a shock, Nicole Marie. However, I'd be careful with this prank, as it can be a sensitive subject with girls, and you don't want to offend anyone.

go to the dollor store buy like 10 boxes of tampons and red food coloring then put it on all the tampons then go to school early and hang them in the boys and girls bathroom or put them all over the floors

this is really helpful thanks

It sounds like the seniors at your school went all out with their pranks. They've certainly given you something to live up to. Thanks for sharing your story, Megan.

Haha. Im only a sophomore but it's our seniors' last day today. Of course they went all out. First they started grilling out this morning in the parking lot. While doing this they brought in 4 semi trucks and blocked off all the entrances. One kid actually brought in a huge slide thing and they all took off there clothes and jumped off it and went down it! Classic! And at 10 o'clock, they put little alarms ALL around the school and there gonna go off! And once we walked into the school, there were chickens everywhere. Classic! I Can't wait for my senior year!

Arielle, it sounds like the portable classrooms would be a good site for a fulfilling prank, such as filling the room with balloons.

Well, Anon, it sounds like your school is in for some excitement in these last days of school. Thanks for adding more pranks to our list!

-- Contributed by: Lorie

Thanks for the suggestion, Prankster. That definitely sounds like a prank that will make an impression but won't cause any permanent damage.

Hey I'm in this special program where you go to the community college and take college as well as high school classes. Obviously we can't touch the college but that only leaves two little portables that the high school owns. Any tips on a senior prank that isn't a major felony?

We have had a series of pranks. One day we randomly burst out into song during assembly. That was based on Improveverywhere's Food Court Musical.

The next day, we took all the younger grades backpacks during assembly and moved them onto the football field.

The school was shocked that there was an arsenal instead of just one... and we've got more planned.

if your school has a stairwell, like mine, then buy packing peanuts, and fill it up with them to the second floor. It will cause mayhem when un-suspecting victims open the door!

Well, anonymous, I'm sure there's more than one CHS out there, but even if it didn't happen at your school, it's still a prank seniors can aspire to.

i go to that school that michele is talking about and that never happened. i'm graduating from that school this year. never saw a car in the courtyard, nice try though

Thanks for the contribution, Michele. That's a great example of why "deconstruction pranks" made the number one spot on this list.

Live in a small town and they really haven't done any renovation to the high school since there is not many kids that go. (number differs every year) We have this outside courtyard right in the middle of the school and the doors from the school leading outside are very small. that is the only way to get to the courtyard is to go through the school. we got an old v-bug and took the engine, seats basically anything that had weight out and hoisted it onto the roof. then we lowered it down into the coutyard and put the tires back on and the seats back in. nobody could figure out how it got in there and they ended up having to cut the car apart to get it out. we did this with 3 weeks left of school and the car stayed there until 2 days before it let out. they had yellow police tape around the car and we couldn't go into the courtyard for the rest of school. it was so awesome. to this day, nobody specifically has ever been named, they all know it was the seniors though. we tagged the car good. THANKS BECAUSE I WANT THE BIGGEST PRANK EVER

Thanks for sharing, Yolanda. I hope the chickens came out of the experience all right. I worry about the spray paint and the stress of the situation.

-- Contributed by: Lorie

Im from valley view high school..and what we did on graduation day was we let go of like 30 baby chickens and the people who were at the front were the one's who had the chicks..so we sprayed painted the chickens to the colors of the school..the people in the bleachers couldnt see from afar at first..but then got a good laugh..the superintendent just laughed..

-- Contributed by: Yolanda

Thanks for the examples, Kayla. Although spray painting causes more permanent damage than we like to see in a prank, chalking is a great way to spread your message. You do raise an important point about the dangers of senior pranks, though. Seniors should be careful not to do anything to jeopardize their chance of graduating. You've made it this far, so you don't want to ruin it for a few moments of fun.

for the graduating 07 seniors at my school they pulled all of our lunch tables together and brricaded half of our schools parking lot then they suran rapped all of the tables together. they also spray painted and chalked all over te school that "class of 07 rocks" it was priceless. The princpal thought it was hilarious but the vice princapal was not too happy. she tried to make it so the entire graduating class couldn't walk. So there wasnt' going to e a graduation!!! the princapal was so mad that they fired her!

Here are a few more ideas, Brady. Hopefully, you'll like them, or they will inspire you to come up with a unique prank of your own:

  • Spread the word about the time and location of the senior prank. Hand out fliers, print it on t-shirts, or whatever you think will make the most people take notice. You can then do one of two things – show up at the planned spot with signs saying, "You fell for it" or execute a prank in another location while the teachers and administration are busy guarding the supposed prank location.
  • Most high schools have a flagpole, providing a great central location for a prank. Some seniors cover the entire pole with tires. Other classes create their own flags to raise. However, the most impressive example comes from students cutting a junkyard car in half and reconstructing it around the flagpole.
  • Another possible prank is to turn the school hallways into "roads" with lanes, "freshmen crossing" signs, and seniors acting as traffic cops. This can be fun, but it does take more planning than some ideas. You also need to make sure anything you use to mark the hallways won't leave permanent damage.

Thanks for the suggestion, Caity. That sounds like a fun and easy prank that would make an impression without doing any damage - one of the best kinds.

Take a whole lot of bouncy balls and after like 1st period have you and others throw the bouncy balls all over the halls. its amazing
