It's summer - the Fourth of July - so it's time for all the red, white, and booze blue you can drink. Is there any better time to enjoy red, white, and blue drinks? Whether you add the patriotic colors with the garnish, carefully layer your cocktail, or whip up a drink that uses a little of both, these cocktails make the perfect patriotic addition to any party.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka, tequila, or rum
- Crushed ice
- Red food dye
- Blue food dye
- Lemon-lime soda to top off
Instructions
- Fill a third of a highball glass with blue-dyed crushed ice.
- Fill a third with plain crushed ice.
- Fill remaining glass with red-dyed crushed ice.
- Add vodka.
- Top off with lemon-lime soda.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces raspberry vodka
- Crushed ice
- 1 ounce grenadine
- Red food dye
- Blue food dye
- Lemonade to top off
- Cherry for garnish
Instructions
- In a pilsner or highball glass, fill a third of the glass with the red crushed ice.
- Add grenadine and raspberry vodka.
- Fill a third of the glass with plain crushed ice.
- Top remaining glass with blue crushed ice.
- Top off with lemonade.

- 6 ounces orange liqueur
- 4 ounces cranberry juice
- 4 ounces cherry juice
- Ice
- Ginger ale to top off

- In a large pitcher, add blueberries, strawberry slices, apple slices, and ice.
- Add white wine, orange liqueur, cherry juice, and cranberry juice.
- Stir to mix.
