Zodiac Signs of Billionaires & Which Sign Has the Most Billionaires

We didn't look up the birthdates of all 3,000+ of the world's billionaires. But we did delve into the zodiac signs of people in the top 60 and extrapolated from there which zodiac signs have the most billionaires. Aries didn't come as much of a surprise, but what was surprising was that the Ram tied with Libra, both with 9 billionaires in the top 60.

It turns out that there's just as much need for diplomacy (Libra) in the high-stakes world of being super rich as there is for sheer drive and determination (Aries). Happy-go-lucky Sagittarius brings up the rear with just one billionaire in the top 60, which makes total sense since Sag is more about adventure and experience than about the daily grind involved in making a billion bucks. 

Elon Musk has a lot of dough. This probably comes as no surprise to you, with his greatest hits including Tesla, SpaceX, and, of course, his acquisition of Twitter (is it just me — I can't bring myself to call it X).

Born on June 28, 1971, Musk is a Cancer who is worth more than $245 billion. As a Cancer, Musk is tenacious, observant, and imaginative — qualities that make him the richest man in the world. 

Oracle's co-founder, Larry Ellison, is worth over $210 billion. Ellison was born on August 17, 1944, which means he's a Leo. As a Leo, it's no surprise that Ellison is ambitious, dynamic, decisive, and driven, all personality traits that probably contributed to his tremendous financial success. 

If you shop at Amazon as much as I do, then you probably suspect that Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos, is worth a ton of money. And you'd be right. He's worth more than $230 billion.

Bezos was born on January 12, 1964, making him a Capricorn. As a Capricorn, Bezos is driven, determined, and successful, and his bank balance proves it.

Facebook's founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is worth more than $201 billion. Born on May 14, 1984, Zuckerberg is a Taurus. Many Taruses love the finer things in life, and they're super determined and hardworking. So it's probably no surprise that the Meta CEO is rolling in dough. 

Born on March 5, 1949, Bernard Arnault is the founder of the world's largest luxury goods brand, LVMH (think Christian Dior, Tag Heuer, Fendi, and Dom Pérignon, to name a few). The Frenchman is a Pisces, and he's worth over $172 billion.  Pisces is wise and adaptable, traits Arnault relies on as a successful businessman. 

Berkshire Hathaway's CEO and an extremely successful investor, Warren Buffet, is a Virgo. He was born on August 30, 1930. As a Virgo, Buffet is intelligent, hardworking, practical, detail-oriented, and methodical. And that's probably why he's worth a cool $146 billion, give or take a few bucks. 

You can always count on Aries to be the leader of the pack. And boy, is Google co-founder Larry Page ever a leader. Worth over $138 billion today, Page was born on March 26, 1973, which makes him an Aries. His Aries traits include tremendous leadership skills, passion, and courage — all things that make total sense in a hard-charging search engine pioneer. 

And speaking of Google, its other co-founder, Sergey Brin, is no slouch in the billionaire department. Brin was born on August 21, 1973, making him a Leo cusp Virgo. People born on this cusp, called the Cusp of Exposure, are passionate, daring, charismatic, and excellent problem solvers. Brin is worth more than $132 billion. 

Hold onto your hats because we've got another Aries in the House. Amancio Ortega was born on March 28, 1936, and he's currently worth more than $131 billion. The Spanish businessman is the founder of the fashion brand Inditex Fashion Group, with brands that include Zara, Massimo Dutti, and Pull&Bear. It seems the hard-charging Aries energy has served him well. 

Yup. It's another Aries. Are we starting to detect a trend? Former Microsoft Corp. CEO and current owner of the LA Clippers, Steve Ballmer, was born on March 24, 1946, making him another driven Aries whose determination to get ahead has worked out in his favor. 

Aquarians are idealistic thinkers who are often innovators. Kind of like Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of tech giant NVIDIA. So it's probably no surprise that Huang, who is an Aquarius born on February 17, 1963, is leading the charge into the newest frontier in computing, AI. He's worth $115 billion or so. 

When home computing was still a baby industry, who didn't have a Dell computer on their desk at some point? That's all thanks to Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell, who is worth over $108 billion. He's a Pisces, born on February 23, 1965. 

Although she's not in the top 10 billionaires, the daughter of Sam Walton, Walmart heiress Alice Walton, is one of the richest women on the planet with assets of more than $92 billion. Born on October 7, 1949, she's a Libra. Libras are sophisticated, artistic, rational, and diplomatic, all traits necessary to navigate the world of the financial elite. 

Another of the richest women on the planet, L'Oreal heiress Francoise Bettencourt Meyers has assets totaling over $84 billion. The French heiress was born on July 10, 1953, which means she's a sensitive and empathetic Cancer. 

Your sun sign plays a big role in who you are and what you do in life, but it doesn't necessarily determine how financially successful you will be. Still, it's definitely easy to detect trends when you break it all down. So is your financial success written in the stars? It absolutely could be.
