Ingredients
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup simple syrup
- 1¼ cups rum
- 750 mL bottle Rioja
- Ice
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the orange, lime, lemon, simple syrup, and rum.
- Chill for two to four hours, or overnight if desired.
- Before serving, muddle the fruit with a wooden spoon, lightly crushing but not pulverizing.
- Add ice and Rioja.
- Stir to mix.

If you're looking for a sangria that won't leave you fuzzy the next day, use a low-alcohol wine.

Instructions
- In a large pitcher, add the lemon, orange, apple slices, sugar, Cognac, and Grand Marnier.
- Stir to mix.
- Refrigerated for about an hour.
- Use a spoon to crush the fruits lightly.
- Stir in Rioja, orange juice, and soda water.
- Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

- Chill for at least six hours or overnight.
- Before serving, mix the fruits well with the wine and soda water.
- Add ice before serving.
- Garnish with mint sprigs if desired.

- 4 oranges, thinly sliced

- 3 liters lemon-lime soda, chilled

- Stir well to mix thoroughly.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Just before serving, use a wooden spoon to lightly mash, but not pulverize, fruit. Some berries will retain their shape.
- Add ice, wine, and lemon-lime soda.
