Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6-8 slices vanilla or lemon pound cake — cubed
- 1 can blueberry pie filling
- 1 container whipped topping
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
Directions
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a stand mixer until fluffy and smooth. Add milk or heavy cream if consistency is too thick (you want this somewhat spreadable).
- Create the first layer in your trifle dish with the cake cubes. You just need a single layer here, and some space in between cubes is okay.
- Follow with a layer of your cream cheese mixture, a layer of pie filling, a layer of whipped cream, and a layer of blueberries.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full. Finish off with a fresh blueberry layer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted butter — softened
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
Directions
- Combine the almond flour, sugar, and butter in a stand mixer.
- Add in the lemon, vanilla, and salt. Combine.
- Judge the consistency at this point and add some milk if needed.
- Use the mixer to fold in your fresh blueberries — this will help burst some of the berries so the flavor spreads throughout your cookies.
- Chill for half an hour and dig in!
